I finally trained myself to read a smut fanfiction without skipping the mature chapter, 1 boy x girl and 1 yaoi. I mean if I can see it in a film, why not read a chapter, right?

Now, could someone tell me why yaoi is so prevalent over heterosexual smut in fanfiction? I mean…why does the idea of boy x boy please so many fan girls? It’s not a joke or judgment..I’m innately curious. I would love to understand.
